As the newly wed couple crossed the threshold, they had faith in each other that they were going to be together for many years to come. Little did the wife know that her husband was a pious martyr in the Penitentes, a group of devoted Catechism. After several years, the couple had a baby. The Baby, upon meeting his Father for the first time, let out a joyful mirth. After another handful of years, the Husband was almost Tarried by the townspeople after a religious quarrel caused mass frenzy. The wife and young son discerned the importance of this ceremony and attempted to resolve the conflict.
