175 years later, would Emerson Puke or Celebrate?

Emerson would Puke. Nobody is Self-Reliant, it's all about getting rich off of others in this Day and age. People disrespect each other, and Elders aren't giving the youth a chance. Violent Groups are recruiting us so the 'Valuable' Older people can survive, while the youth a forced to kill each other, and aren't expected to die. Examples: Street Gangs, Armies, and ideas that seem fun but end up in disaster.
