Describe a time you finished a book. How did the experience make you feel? Proud to have finished it? Sad to say goodbye to the Characters? Irritated with the plot resolution? Please explain.
The summer between 8th and 9th grade, I finished reading Les Miserables, a heavy book of over 1,000 pages of French and Old English combined. It felt so accomplishing to finally finish it, considering I'd been hacking away at it forever. It was a challenging book for me to read at 14, but I got it done.
